The package covers the first visit. It does not cover treatment we might find you need: a filling, a deeper clean, something quietly getting worse.
That work is quoted separately, in writing. You take it away and decide in your own time. Nothing gets done on the day that you have not agreed to, and the $300 does not change because of what we find.

Questions we get asked
Is $300 really the whole cost of the visit?
Yes, for the seven items listed above, including the radiographs. It is your out-of-pocket fee and it is GST inclusive.
What it does not include is treatment we might find you need. That is quoted separately in your written plan, and you decide about it later.
Who can book it?
New patients of the practice, one package per patient. If you have been in before and would like a check-up, call us and we will book you in the usual way.
What if I have health fund cover?
The $300 is the fee before any rebate. We have HICAPS, so if you are covered your rebate is processed at the practice and you pay the difference. How much you get back depends on your level of extras cover and your policy. Bring your card and we will check.
Which X-rays will I have?
Whichever type is clinically appropriate for you: an OPG, a CBCT or bitewings. The package covers the one that is indicated, not all three. Your dentist will explain why they have chosen it.
I am nervous about the dentist. Can you work with that?
Tell us when you book and again when you arrive. We can go slower, explain each step before it happens, and stop whenever you need to. For treatment later on, sedation options can be discussed with our anaesthetist.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. We see children at the practice, and eligible children may be able to access dental care through the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule, subject to eligibility and item limits. Ask us when you call.
How do I pay?
On the day at the practice, with your health fund rebate claimed through HICAPS at the same time where your fund allows it.

Examinations and radiographs
- Radiographs are included in the package price. Where clinically indicated the appropriate radiograph will be taken, either an OPG, CBCT or bitewing. The package does not include all three radiograph types.
- Any additional treatment identified during your examination will be outlined and quoted separately in your personalised written treatment plan, and is not included in the package.
